The F Word: Women in Architecture
This thesis examines some of the reasons behind specifically women and also men leaving the architecture industry, to determine potential solutions to make the profession more supportive.
The impacts of choosing architecture as a profession on both women with children and single women within architecture are investigated. The research suggests that without support from both women and men in architecture, the reasons women are leaving the profession will continue to make architecture an unsustainable and unsupportive career for many.
